Lisa Franks RDH is a dedicated dental hygienist with a profound passion for enhancing the lives of seniors through specialized oral care. Beginning her journey with a high school co-op placement in a long-term care facility, Lisa discovered her calling. After graduating from Dental Hygiene School in 2012, she gained invaluable experience working in various settings, including high-volume dental offices across Simcoe County and visiting different long-term care homes. Embracing her heart’s calling, Lisa attained her Self-initiation designation from the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario in 2017, paving the way for her unique career path.
Driven by her commitment to senior care, Lisa ventured out on her own, founding Dental Love which focuses on delivering compassionate dental hygiene services to elderly patients in their residences. Her approach, notably integrating music from her patients’ youth, significantly eases anxiety and fosters a deeper connection, especially with those suffering from dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. Lisa’s exceptional dedication and caring nature not only make dental hygiene visits comforting but also transform them into enjoyable experiences for her patients.
Outside her professional life, Lisa treasures spending time with her family, including golfing with her husband Norm and vacationing with her children, Ayden and Mya. Lisa Franks stands out as an oral care expert, continually seeking ways to better serve the senior community and improve their quality of life.
